New River Chapter of AACA Car Club

The New River Chapter of AACA is one of fourteen chapters that comprise the North Carolina Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America.  The Chapter has approximately 25 members who are interested in the preservation and enjoyment of automobiles.  Our car club is located around Jacksonville, NC which is the home to U.S. Marine Corps’ Second Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejuene and New River Air Station.

Chapter Activities
In addition to monthly business meetings, there are a variety of activities that the members participate in. 

  •   Other North Carolina Region chapter shows; National meets
  •   Driving tours
  •   Parades
  •   Annual Christmas party; Spring Steak out; and Fall Chili Cook out.
  •   Annual Car Show

Membership

  • Membership applications for the AACA, the NC Region and the New River Chapter are attached.  Membership in both the regional and national organizations is required.  The dues include the bi-monthly magazine published by the AACA and the bi-monthly newsletter of the NC Region.  We are proud to welcome members from the USMC both active and retired to our Club activities

Meeting Location
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. they rotate between several locations in Jacksonville to include members homes. Please check our facebook page to see were we will be having our next meeting.

Jacksonville, NC

Jacksonville is home to the U.S. Marine Corp’s Second Marine Expeditionary Force with all its Marine components including Ground, Air and Support organizations.  Estimated forces at 75,000 troops in the area including Camp Lejeune, est. 1941 and New River Marine Aircraft Station (MCAS) with its helicopters, Cobra Attack, CH-46, Ch-53, and the all-new V-22 Osprey.  Near-by is the master jet base at Cherry Point MCAS with the FA-18 Super Hornets, VSTOL Harrier jets, C-130 and EA-6s
