Description |
| Kroil | Penetrating Oil | It's a little pricey and you have to order it online but this stuff has never let me down. It can unlock seriously rusted hardware if you give it time to soak in. |
| Metal Polish | Soft cloth pads soaked with a pleasant smelling metal polish in a nice metal tin. It works very well on brass and aluminum. It is available at Mitchell Hardware downtown. |

| Anti-seize Compound | Lubricant | Great stuff to put on spark plug threads, manifold bolts, water pump bolts or anything that you may want to take apart some day. |
| Examination Gloves | Convenience and Protection | I keep a box of these in the garage for all sorts of nasty chores, like packing bearings. If you know you are going to get your hands dirty, use these gloves and toss 'em when you are done. They do tear easily and solvents tend to break them down. Available at your "FLAPS". | Yamabond 6B | Silicone Sealant | I use this product on my cork valve cover gaskets to improve their seal. Available at Yahama Bike shops. It is very black and and seems to get everywhere. Use the gloves (above) when applying Yamabond. |
| SMS Auto Fabrics | Interior materials | Bob Wilson reported SMS had some very special cloth that was used on a limited number of Studebakers in a single year. Besides having the rare material, SMS's prices were very reasonable. |
