The First Capital Chapter of the American Automobile Club of America was pleased to make donations to various worthy charitable organizations in New Bern and surrounding counties. The Salvation Army, Filling Station, and Religious Community Services were each delighted to receive a donation in December. The Auto Club had raised these funds at their very successful Spring Show which the Club hosted on the streets of New Bern last May. The Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Paula’s Italian Restuarant in New Bern at 6:00 PM. Anyone with an interest in antique and classic cars is welcome to join the Club.
