The Tommy Jordan Memorial Award is presented annually to the club member who has shown the greatest participation in antique automobile activities during the past year. The award is based on a points system. Points are earned by attending a variety of club activities. These include monthly meetings, tours, displays, shows, parades, and club socials. At years end, the points are tallied and the award is presented to the recipient at the annual Christmas Party.
Tommy Jordan was one of our charter members who played a major part in organizing our Cape Fear Chapter. He was very active in the antique automobile hobby and was well known throughout the NC Region and AACA. We feel that this annual award will help carry on the good work he began.
