Our 39th Annual Car Show on March 26, 2011, at Independence
Mall was a resounding success. The show was held in
memory of two members Tom Forrester and Neil Sullivan.
Both were enthusiastic car buffs who actively and on numerous
occasions supported our club. The chapter is very appreciative
of the families of Neil and Tom for attending the show and displaying
several of their autos to honor and give tribute to their
memories.

Despite the uncertainty of the weather we had a record 151
cars/trucks on display. The hospitality trailer again provided an
outstanding availability of food and drink. Parking, registration,
and judging were exceptional. Special thanks to team members
Bennett Kennedy, parking, Charlie Buis, registration, Tom Getz,
registration prep, Matt Hinson, judging, Debbie Mintz, hospitality,
especially our 50/50 team Jim McKernan, Mary Saunders,
Crystal Ludlum, and Beth Henderson. The 50/50 brought in a
whopping $1200; $600 to the lucky winner, Perry Davis. Congratulations
to Matt Hinson on winning the Chester Counts
Award.
